The vibrant culture of the Old Pueblo is still present in the modern-day barrio of Tucson. Longtime resident Edward McCain has photographed this neighborhood for years and knows exactly how to capture the vivid colors, interesting textures and architectural details of the buildings that dominate this area.
Colorful doorways juxtaposed against sturdy adobe walls adorned with pots of cactus, agaves and tropical plants present inviting subjects from which to create folksy, whimsical images. Edward knows just where to find the best locations and will show you the best ways to compose your images for optimal results. The barrio is also home to some of the best Mexican restaurants in the Southwest, so lunch will be an unforgettable experience.
